Laser based techniques are used to develop novel ways of producing new nanomaterials that are potentially useful products for industry. The laser manufacturing techniques focus on using clean technology principles of waste minimisation and being scalable for industrial manufacturing. Projects are undertaken in collaboration with Prof Colin Raston (Cleantech laboratory, Flinders) and Prof Joe Shapter (Flinders Centre for Nanoscale Science and Technology).
